I've probably missed this somewhere, but I can't see if there are instructions on story length. I've just written some childhood recollections - and they run to nearly 4 pages. I guess this is too long(?)
I would have liked to attach an image but I belive you are still working on this possibility.

I've just come back from a couple of week's leave, else I would have replied to your message a couple of days ago.
In a nutshell - there is no limit to how long - or short - a story can be. So a very long one is fine. If you think it looks too long or that people might not read it because it is so long, you might have another look at the story and see if you can break it down into 2 or 3 (or even more) shorter stories.
How about putting it on the site, then submitting it to the <./>EditorialDesk</.> or the <./>WritingWorkshop</.>, and then other members of the WW2 community could help you out with it?
