Hi David

A very popular place is the <./>ASKH2G2</.> , ( Don't forget to click on the "SEE MORE CONVERSATIONS" link at the bottom of that page ) that is were you can ASK what ever you want and maybe answer some of the questions that are there, or just join in with the conversations as they often go off topic
or you might like to look at the <./>FRONTPAGE</.> (there are a lot of links on the right of that page )
Or the PeerReview
If you click HERE >> U193090 it will take you to my page, were you will find that I have put some links to other places that I thought you might find interesting, including the <./>DontPanic-Tour</.> page that is all ways a good place to start
If you have any questions or just what to talk then don't hesitate to leave me a message on my page or click on the "REPLY" button at the bottom of this page
Have some and a cup of
to keep you going.
Speak to you later

Hi Manda - Sorry I havent replied - I've been pretty busy recently btw thanks for the - two sugars pls, but I'll have to pass on the
as I'm supposed to be on a diet
!
Thanks very much about the helpful info. I appreciate it.
I'm about to have a good look around to see if there is a place for general posts. I've had an idea about "The Big Read" on BBC2 tonight. I dont know if you have watched it, but basically it's about finding the uk's favourite book. It would be interesting to see how many people vote for a hitchhiker book..

Hi again Manda!
Just a quick query I hope ...
I've had an article taken into peer review. After looking at an article about peer review and how a copy of the original is made and the copy edited etc, I was wondering if I should delete the original if/when the edited version appears.
BTW the article is A1040734 - the original one anyhow

Hehe.
So far so good ... still plenty of time to offend someone tho
I've signed up to one or two forums in the past, but comparing to H2G2 is like comparing .... well there isn't really a comparison. I think it's
Thanks for the response. It just seemed courteous to the owners of the hardware that powers h2g2. After all it is to all intents and purposes duplicated data. If all guide entries are still stored in their original form, storage requirements are considerably higher than they need to be.
BTW do you know offhand how much disk space h2g2 has allocated to it and how much is used already? I'm gonna see if anyone knows in askh2g2
Key: Complain about this post
