It is latem where I am, and I have work to do. I don't ever claim to be right, either logically or morally. All I ever put forward is my opinions and my thoughts. And I am honest about the places those thoughts have not taken me, and the reasons they have not taken me there.

What I say very probably is self-serving and parochial. I have had a sheltered life. I bow to your greater experience.

I apologize for the unfortunate choice of terms. I was trying to be honest about my response to your ideas, not criticize you personally. Please don't take it personally. I too have self-serving and parochial ideas from time to time. I hope somebody cares enough to point that out occasionally.

NP. My ideas are not me, and vice versa.

Not only am I tired, but I am also drunk, so I shall glide elegantly off to bed, and see you around another day.

And - truly - all the best. (I value honesty, and respect it when I am on the receiving end of it. Damn Internet, we lose the 85% non-verbal communication this way).
