last night woke up at about 10.45 wandering around
when we tried to coax him back to sleep he started coughing violently until he was sick
this resulted in and Daddy sleeping down stairs and mummy having an early night
why i hear you ask did you run off and leave your husband to deal with an ill ? well because even the sound of someone vomiting is enough to entice me into doing the same, and as i have a larger capacity for vomit than the three year old I thought it was for the best,
so as my husband calmed the monster down and they slept on the sofa I wrapped up in bed tried to calm my heaving stomachs and cold shivers prevent myself from vomiting and fall asleep which was eventually achieved
so needless to say did not go to preschool today but he will be going tomorrow as not only has there been no more vomiting but no more coughing and a whole helping of jumping up and down and giggling
so I'll stake my professional reputation as a mother
that he's fine

Ah, my achiles heel too. I can and have dealt with broken bodies in car wrecks, dealt with someone who had fallen best part of 2000ft off a mountain, all without so much as batting an eyelid. Someone being sick? Nope, I'm gone, never been able to deal with that, whatever the cause.

I'm fairly indifferent towards vomit. Crap on the other had, is really not my remit.
