Yes we've been out celebrating the botched assassination attempt of king James in 1605, or to put it another way; to watch people literately send money up in smoke, there not cheep things fireworks...

Ephraim enjoyed the occasion sat watching the bangers while sat on daddies shoulders, the cat has slept through the entire event and they are finally starting to die down a bit

now traditionally we would have treacle toffee on bonfires night here but the boys don't like it much and its not good for there teeth at any rate,

Joe got home safely (thank goodness) and after a quick trip to the butchers cooked some dinner (told you he would) lamb Koftas with cucumber and tomatoes and a bread roll (or barm cake as they call them round here I don't know some people)

he might make it to the bed yet
I think I'll go make some hot chocolate in a minute we've got marshmallows somewhere too...
I seem to keep forgetting what day of the week it is I have to keep reminding myself it's Sunday tomorrow and even as I type this I want to say Tuesday

little one is fast asleep now, he was allowed out far past his bedtime to see those fireworks,
