Mister Nerd is being helpfully unhelpful as a newbie. For example, when I tried to get him to subscribe to the Editors and h2g2 Future, he said, "My ACE didn't tell me that. Why should I believe you? You're not an ACE."

Incidentally he is a photographer. I already posted one of his up there on Noesis. He says he doesn't know anything about Noesis either.

You could try out new help files on him. He pointed out that the ones you linked to claim to be out of date, and how is he supposed to know what information is valid and what is useless, so what good are they? He has a point.

I've been rewriting my greeting but most of it i "borrow" off of other ACEs

I shall endevor to update my welcome the only thing is with them updating the entire site everything is out of date at the moment
