You've been around a little while (I can see by your number), but you've not had much of a presence yet. A good start would be to click on 'Preferences' and change your name to something more memorable- Vas will be more than adequate. It can be anything you like- I'm Very Important Princess, and we even have a Zarquon's Singing Fish! As you can tell, anything goes.

I'm afraid I don't know where the Amrican researcher groups are, but use the h2g2 Search engine and they'll be around if you want to find them.

Thanks for the info. I was actually thinking about changing my name but the fingers got lazy. And, as a matter of fact I do have a question for ya: what are the most populated conversations, or places, or cities, or whatever else it is? Or should I simply surf around?

Try http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/plain/Askh2g2 (thst's Ask h2g2) for a start. That's where a lot of action goes on. Aside from that, um, it's difficut to say. I'd look for people's conversation ists and see what they're talking about.
