h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've only just joined h2g2, only read about it yesterday! I was browsing the list of online members at random and clicked on you, I liked the name!! So you are my first contact!

I too have a dog, at present recovering from surgery to rebuild his knee which he wrecked chasing tree rats on Chritmas Day. Greyhounds are incredibly stupid!

I'm also a Xena fan, love Blazing Saddles, but think Monty Python's "Life of Brian" is probably the funniest film ever.

Rock music is probably my favourite eg, Queen, Meatloaf, but my dislikes are the same as yours. Generally, I'll listen to anything.

Good beer is worth looking for and we have some great dark beers here in the UK. If you reply to me I will let you know some more about them. As I once saw on a T-shirt "Life's to short to drink shit beer."

As for reading, I'm an SF and fantasy fan of many years standing.

I suppose I should have spent this time preparing my Personal Space introduction, but maybe personal contact with other members is more important.

Aye, the greyhound can be rather dense, but quite sweet. Hope he heals up and can return to the hunt! (my male is convinced that squirrels are communists and MUST die... not that he's ever caught one! )

Sounds like we've definitely got some similar interests, so I hope I'll see ya around. You'll find H2G2's a pretty friendly place, overall, with lots of interesting people. You should be formally greeted by an ACE (assistant community editor, I think?) if you haven't been already, and they're fountains of useful info for newbies. For that matter, if you get lost, look me up and I'll try to help out.

Hi, I've already had a greeting from an ACE and I'm trying to get to grips with GuideML cos an intro looks better with some headers and colour, don't you think.

Duke is improving slowly. we've just been for a slow walk, slow so he has to walk, not hop, dodging the showers.

Anyway, duty calls, so back to the grind.
