Hmmmmm, very similar in life outlook we seem to be!
You know,a few months ago i was about to embark upon a Diploma course in Countryside management at a local college/uni here, that would have led, perhaps to a career as a ranger.
As it happens a promotion in my current place of employment occurred and those plans fell by the wayside, however i am still deeply dissatisfied with my lot(despite enjoying my job on a day to day basis).
I am now acutely aware of how limited and precious our one and only life is, so i would really like to do some sort of job outdoors, in remotest Scotland if at all possible- a country i love. Do tell me about your job
Goodbye..sorry i mean hello.

Goodbye to you too, mate!
Let's see. I manage a small state park in southern New Mexico. My job (when I'm healthy, anyway ) cosists of a little of everything. Maintenance (cleaning toilets, picking up trash); interpretation (guiding hikes and tours); administration (paying bills, purchasing, planning); law enforcement...you name it!
There's a lot of variety, which is nice. Also a lot of bureaucratic balderdash, which is not so nice . But, overall, it's a nice living!
What about you and your career?

clink oh and have a while you're at it..
Isn't it amazing how other people's jobs always sound so much better than your own?
Me, i manage a small photographic department in a medium sized family run Optician/photographic dealer, here in scotland. So i know all about Binoculars, telescopes, and cameras!
I own a big 6incher myself for looking at the stars and planets of course
Anyway, we will continue this soon- i'm off to bed It's 3.15 in the morning here!
Bye for now
Goodbye..sorry i mean hello.
