It is, indeed, Sunday, but that's the start of my week, so it works out just fine!

I did, unfortunately, spend the birthday in bed, for all the wrong reasons . But, on the plus side, I'm on my way back to feeling like a human again!

Eh, wasn't an exciting birthday, but at least it wasn't stomach flu this year!

Anyway, once you reach my advanced years, birthdays don't mean as much as they do to you young pups...

What my birthday means to me:

- Extra hugs at the pub
- Free drinks
- The band HAS to play my favourite song
- Get to catch up with a lot of people that I don't get to see so much these days...
- I can usually get dad down to the pub to play pool for a while

...and that's about it...I'm not a big fan of presents or parties myself, I just like to hang out with my people

Works for me!

Which just makes it all the more confusing...it doesn't take a lot to please me..but I end up getting myself into these ridiculous situations that just burn me out entirely...
