I got hooked on The Guide in junior high, and that's what brought me to the site. I loved DNA's sense of humor... it was a tragedy he died so young!

Vacay was great fun. My sis and I went to California. Played tourist in San Francisco, hiked in Muir Woods and Yosemite, had a great time.

Only bad part was that the whole trip was planned to climax in a Jimmy Buffett concert, and it was cancelled!

But it was a good time, anyway!

As long as you had fun, with the exception of the concert!

The concert was a bummer, but the rest was way , so I can't complain!

Why the name change!!

I was gone for a week, then had to travel more for work as soon as I got back. So up until the last couple days, I haven't been on much, either!

The name change is a rather long and story, which has been taking place in the "Having the Last Word" thread. In essence, my "betrothed" had a fling with the bartender at our library. So now I'm huffing about being .

Don't ask me how this all got started...just one of those goofy threads where everything makes sense at the time!
