Turkish Trip 2002

My wife tells me it's less than three weeks before we depart on our month long tour of Central and Eastern Anatolia. Although I don't normally worry too much about the current political affairs (I'd never travel anywhere if I did!, however, this time we are taking some friends with us.

Our friends have been to Turkey before, they love it and we all have Turkish friends, however, this will be their first time off the "well-beaten" tourist trails.

So, this time I'm concerned, nothing more. Unless it really goes pear-shaped, we'll soon be on our way to Ankara, into our hire car and "orf" to Cappadocia, Diyarbakir, Midiyat, Urfa, and Antakya.

Perhaps I should be more worried about how much we can pack into suitcases?
