Yaaay Abbi
*still wondering what deadheads are (not on the roses obviously)*
I've vaguely heard of Garcia

The Grateful Dead
Rock and Roll group.
Been around 40 years I guess.
They have quite a following , many but not all with grey hair whom have followed them from day one. The followers are dead heads. (j? or g?)Jerry Garcia was the lead singer and after he died a decade or so ago the band became known as The Dead.
Fans feel free to correct me.
They did a news story tonight about the dead heads arriving here and camping out for a concert coming up very soon.

Thanks Jellen.
That is 3 or 4 out of 17 permits
These seem to be the most important.
The next is equally so and it will be 7- 10 days to hear about that approval. It should start soon after...
*waits*
I will try to put it out of my mind again for a few days.
One step at a time
I hope you got some sleep and are well today

Hi abbi, good luck with all your stuff. Is there a thread of backlog about your twin somewhere?

I like Thomas Dolby's "Beauty of dream", because of the guest musicians Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir of Greatful Dead fame..

Funny Pheloxi!
HBJoy* - yes there are threads about twinny.
I used to write about her a lot then it got to painful to dwell on. I needed h2g2 for a diversion. She joined h2g2 but has not had a computer since. Maybe one day she will come to h2g2 again. I have quit writing so much about her since she was coming to speak for herself on h2g2.
The threads would be way back in my earlier journal posts
Usually sad titles and some yippee yay titles-- Extremes! Time and waiting involved mostly........

Hi Abbi!
Just stopped by to say hello, as I haven't had a chance to do so in a few days. Hope you're doing all right, all things considered. Heard anything yet about the remodeling and the zoning/construction ordinances?

Oh, that is so weird that all are talking about Thomas Dolby and "She Blinded Me With Science". I ordered that CD last night! I've had the album up on a shelf for years and not been able to play it, and just this week, I started really wanting to hear it.
