I read your article on John Wyndham with interest and have a couple of cheeky questions:

1) Where did you get the picture from? I need a picture like this for a new blog / forum / twitter feed
2) I am in the very early stages of working out how much material I can gather for a book on John Wyndham - would you be happy for me to refer to this? Would you want to contribute?

That sort of helps - I wanted to know whose picture he had used on the page, was it one of his, from somewhere else or produced by the h2g2 itself.

It appears that the picture was produced in house by the h2g2 artists, especially for the article. This was the general way that h2g2 entries were illustrated at the time.

Hopefully when DavidB arrives back he may shed more light onto it.
