Hi, David B
I´m just looking around. I am a librarian too, but from Germany.
I´ve just read a rather new book (2002):
Koenig, Johann-Guenther "Von Pub zu Pub" (From one pub to another),
a guide to the best pubs in London and South-England, about the best beer, you can get there and about the buildings and the poets who lived nearby and had their beer there. I enjoyed the book, but it is not translated to English language yet.
Whatsoever, I only wanted to geet you
Sued

Greeting Sued,
There seem to be quite a lot of librarians here on h2g2. We gather to tell stories of the library world at the H2G2 Guild of Librarians page: A1009135 if you're interested in having a look.
That sounds like a very interesting . In Canterbury (where I live), lots of places claim to have ties to Chaucer, Marlowe or Dickens, but I'm never quite sure which of these claims are true.
David

thanks for the good tip (A1009135).
I didn´t expect a page for librarians.
Regards, Sued
