Baby Scrambles is almost crawling.

Admittedly, it's only almost. Because he hasn't quite worked out what to do with his legs yet.

Okay, so that sounds like one of the essential elements of crawling that he is yet to get under his belt, so to speak. But what he does do, and demonstrated this monring, is that he can grab a stable point at his furthest reach, and pull himself towards it.

This morning he was on our bed, near the head, facing Daddy. Mommy put a measuring tape over the foot of the bed. Within moments he had spun around, and was grabbing clumps of duvet and pulling himself along towards the tape measure. And spent a happy few minutes playing with it once he reached the end of the bed.

So, it's pretty much the opposite of Irish dancing. No idea what to do with the legs, but completely understanding the use of the arms.

True. Though we aren't too bad already, I think. Of course, Samuel will inevitably prove me wrong on that point when he grabs everything in sight!

He has three teeth now, by the way. Two on the bottom, one up top.
