I haven't really gotten the hang of this journal lark. I get the impression that you're supposed to treat it somewhat like blogging, and waffle about whatever you consider important ( or vastly unimportant ) on the day that you write the damn thing, but since I haven't been keeping this daily, I haven't really entered into a pace and rhythm for it yet. So, my second journal entry, very much like my first journal entry, is pretty much about the art of not writing.
That said, I've begun to write a little more. I've joined www.triggerstreet.com which, as much as anything else, is a useful tool to remind you how much other people are working when you're just playing about on the 'net. I have an idea for a TV drama that I'm beginning to develop ( like a lot of people on this site, I imagine ), and have recently come back from a research trip in London for a screenplay I'm working on ( I've got at least 2 pages down, honest ... ).
Currently, we appear to be continuing our attack on Baghdad. The vibe that I'm picking up from the anti-war protesters is that they're wishing 'our boys' luck and safe passage ( "being anti-war dosen't contradict wanting safe passage for them", comments one ). I imagine there's a couple of people already sketching out the movie rights. The Oscars should be intersting this year ....

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
