Birthday bash was delightful and everyone managed to keep their clothes on (I think). Toupees and teeth were another matter. The waitresses managed to find most of them and, apart from Uncle Edwin and Great Aunt Mabel (who will find it strange chomping breakfast with alien gnashers), I think all went back to their correct homes (well heads and mouths). After the over indulgence of birthday eve, boots remained pretty sober and was therefore elected chief scraper off the floor and given the pouring into taxis detail. Only one went adrift and we believe he is attempting to walk barefoot from Lands end to John O' Groats...that or he is the strangle bundle wrapped up in newspaper by the bus station that the local paper mistakenly thought was a bomb.
