I tried to post this earlier, but apparently one of my "guardian angels" saw fit to eradicate my post. No moderation notes, no comments from an e-mail directly to the Eds ... Volumes spoken in silence.

Anyway, first thing WAS that I apologized for intruding on your chat with the Lady Prez. I normally don't do such things, but was also not quite myself yesterday.

And lastly, I had commented on how it seemed a bit humourous to me how you finally gave in and changed your 'name' to follow the mis-types of so many. A simple ...

I don't mind people coming into one-on-one conversations. I know that in some corners it's considered impolite, but it doesn't bother me. I got to know one of my good hootoo friends (who I've mostly lost touch with, unfortunately) when he dropped into a conversation between Hyp and I (I believe so, anyways). Hell, you're being lurked in one-on-one conversations anyway (as evidenced by the apparent disappearance of your first thread) so why not let the lurker participate?

The 'r' was not so much a 'giving in'. I left h2g2 for a while. Before I left, I was Jodan with a . When I came back, I didn't feel like Jodan with a . I don't know why, come to think of it.

Attitudes, and reasons for staying, are different for everyone if it happens. My PS points to my first personna, someone that just wasn't really "me". Stuff happens and times change, eh?

And I'm still flipping a 2-quid coin a friend sent. Is being stalked a compliment or a curse?
