Hi Jordan
Sub-edited version is here: A37746219
Well, I spent a happy hour anglicising all the Americanisms, only to realise they were within italicised quotes, and then removing them all again.
(deep breath)
So, the net result is: not much has changed
But I added a footnote about US storey nomenclature, which us tender Brits could find confusing.
I haven't added more links - I reckon less is more here.
Could you just confirm that the James Patterson and the John Patterson you refer to are indeed different people, and mentioned correctly in context?

I'm awfully sorry to say this, but most of the italicized text is not quotes. The only quote in the entry is blockquoted at the end. It's just a storytelling technique, so the Americanisms can be removed. 'Storey' can be put in, without use of a footnote.
Actually, James Patterson was an important man in the history of Dayton, he was John's grandfather, but no, I was just stupid and slipped the two names up. It should be 'John' throughout the entry. Thank you for catching that, I completely missed it in several read-throughs somehow.

Thanks Jordan - I've put those back, fixed the James Patterson and returned it to the Editors now.
See you on the Front Page!
