Or, perhaps, "subbing your anagram entry" To be found here: A35669442
So far, I've put in a bit of missing punctuation and the like. And checked the spelling - which, for this entry, is a bit complicated. Changing to BE would ruin some of the anagrams, so I've put in a footnote to that effect in the beginning...
Perhaps we can put in a mention of the hootoo Halloween tradition of anagramming your user name as a "costume"?

Ah, for some reason I really didn't consider the American English conundrum. I'm really bad at remembering to use British English, and even worse at remembering which words are different. That's why I gave up being a sub after a month or two.
The footnote is fine. I wonder if it could be placed so it doesn't interrupt the first sentence though?
I considered putting in something about the hootoo tradition. I thought it might be too meta. If you find a convenient place to stick in that tidbit of info, be my guest

I'll try to find a better place for it - maybe with "aluminum", the first instance of American English that will need to stay in. It should be near the beginning, though. Maybe I'll just work it into the text somehow.
And I'll try to think of a good place to put that, too.

I've put the footnote elsewhere, and also added a final paragraph on anagram names. What do you think? If you have no objections, I'll give it a final read tomorrow morning and send it back.

Looks great. Thanks for your help, Mala. I love it when a sub actually improves an entry rather than doing everything possible to rob it of its soul.

A little naivete can't hurt in a job like subbing. Getting too adjusted and conformed only robs you of your better instincts.

Tweaked the first paragraph just a bit - you had "simple" or "simply" in each of the first three sentences.
I think it's ready to be sent off now.

Ah. You didn't change the first sentence though? Because that would require a corresponding change in the awful anagram below the first para.

Good thing you noticed that, I'll go compare them!
(I actually checked all the anagrams except the endless periodic table one )

I found a tool online to check anagrams, and the periodic table checked out.

Thanks. I didn't relish couting them all
Can I send it off now, or was there anything you still wanted changed/added?
