Noggin the Nog

Haven't been online much the last couple of weeks due to an internet connection problem, but I spotted you were back amongst us, so I thought I'd drop by and say hello.

Good luck with the internet problem--hope it gets better.

Thanks. Hello to you, as well. I've been too busy with schoolwork; now that high school's done I should be here pretty regularly, at least until college starts in the fall.

A bit less regularly than I expected, since I accidently got a part-time job, but hopefully daily.

So how are things with you?

My internet problem seems to have been solved at last, after sending the laptop back to HP to fix, so other commitments permitting I may be online a bit more. At the moment I think I've dropped below the awareness horizon, except for a few old friends like yourself.

Have you started college yet, and what will you be studying?

I just arrived at college today, but I have orientation before classes start, so I won't actually start classes for about a week.

I will be studying either physics or chemistry--I don't have to declare a major until the end of freshman year, so I'll wait to see what I seem to be doing better in.

Things are good with me, although I'm a bit nervous about starting college. I've never lived away from home, and now I'm on the other side of the US, so that alone is a bit daunting. Besides that, Caltech has a reputation as a really hard school and I'm a bit scared of it. But in general things are going pretty well.
