... and welcome to h2g2 - at last.
I know this is all rather belated but I'm one of the <./>ACEs</.> (Assistant Community Editors) who volunteered to help show people around the site. I've been checking back into the h2g2 archives for researchers who might otherwise think they had been ignored. I suspect you don't need any help but, since you've only recently activated your personal space to let people leave you messages, I thought I'd drop by just in case.
If you have a question, click on the reply link below and I'll be back. Otherwise, feel free to ignore this message.

Hello.
The reason I hadn't edited my personal space or posted anything since August is simple. When I first discovered H2G2, I read an article and registered in order to post a responce to it. I apparently mistyped my username when I registered, because what I thought I'd entered didn't work when I loged in again. I set up a new account and have been happily using it on H2G2 since August. I never was able to reaccess this acount, so it sat unused. I finially descided it was stupid, so I emailed support and got the username and password emailed to me. I guess I have two accounts now. If you can figure out what my alter ego is, tell me.

My original guess was that you were one of the 2 people you first added to your personal space. I also wondered if you were the person Hathornefer was helping but I couldn't quite be bothered to chase down all the links looking.
In case you were wondering, there's only one of me on h2g2 and all the following apply: and of course .

Eto is me, R. Daneel. If you've ever read "Prelude to Foundation" or "Forward the Foundation", by Isaac Asimov, you'll see why I picked the name Eto Demerzel.

Well that's definitely one of the 2 people you originally had on your friends list of this personal space. So it was a good guess. I haven't read all of Asimov and not for a long time now. I go through phases of reading lots of stuff interspersed with creating lots of stuff myself instead. I'm a bit extreme like that.

You see, in those two books, it is revealed that Eto Demerzel, First Minister of the Galactic Empire is actually a 20,000 year old robot named R. Daneel Olivaw.
