h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The first thing you do is click on to the following page:

Then go down the page and you will see on the right hand side Related BBC pages and underneath that click here to change skin preferance. Click on to it or you can go down the column in the middle where it says click here to change skin preferance. Both systems work.

Then click on to preferance that will be on your top left hand side in the column where you have my space and then you go to the bottom of that short column and click on to preferance.

When you have clicked on to preferance go to the part that has Alabaster skin.
Click on to it and scroll down until you get plain skin. Click and go down to the bottom of the screen where it says change details/skin.

I am not very good at explaining things, I have already confused my sister about h2g2 and like yourself she is an ex lder.

1. Click onto A948602
2. Go to the right handed column.
3. Scroll down.
4. You will see Related BBC pages.
5. Underneath it will have
click here to change skin
preferance.
6. Go to the top left of your page
and click on to preferance.
7. This will be located underneath
my space.
8. You will see that you are in
alabaster skin you must change
to plain skin.
9. To do that you click onto
alabaster.
10. Scroll down in this section
for different types of skins
until you see plain skin.
11. Click onto it and then go
down to change details. Then go b
back to your own personal space.

I hope you do not think I am condescending but I know what it is like when I had to change my skin from alabaster to plain. The reason that this done it is to stop your digibox from crashing and having you to switch your box on an off. I still do not know much about h2g2 even though I have been here since May or June last year.
