Myth: "an idea or explanation which is widely held but untrue or unproven" (Collins Dictionary).
Should we conclude that "myth" automatically equals "lie"?
How important is "myth" to the human mind?
Does it bring us anything at all or can we easily live without it?
Anyone?

Personally, and this is just my opinion , I beleive myth to be an intregal part of the human mind. A society without myth is a society without dreams. To remove myth completely would be to deny the human spirit of the potential of growing. As all things are perspective, I beleive that the greatest myth is that "one can do anything one wants..." I'm not saying that thats impossible, its just that each one of us is born with different talents, and then there is the small issue of the law...(grin) anyhow, im rambling!
be well all,
