Hooters in Mission Bay or Mission Valley?

My wife an I were driving to the new huge Target in Mission Valley with our 7 year-old niece last week and we drove past Hooters. It had a big Hooters air baloon sailing above it that day which, of course, caught her attention. "Hooters!" she proclaimed. We both grimaced waiting for the inevitable question: "What's Hooters?", "Um, it's a restaraunt Devan" we replied. Luckily that was enough and she didn't ask any further.

Hello Ste,
Thank you for the welcome. I think it was Downtown area but my memory is a little blurry (7 years ago). Do you remember the situation in Douglas's books where there is a planet of just tropical beach coastline where it is always just before the beach bars close? Isn't that California? My wife and I had a holiday in 95 and fell in love with your state. Oh to be a seal in La Hoya, maybe next life!

Ouch, poor joke

California is wonderful. I'm not a native however, I'm an Englishman. I moved here over a year ago because I fell in love with my (now) wife in Britian and just had to live here with her. The seals in La Jolla (it's spanish ) have it great don't they? *Jealousy*

Yes I tried to find La Houy ah on the net but failed....obviously, of course should've consulted the all knowing one as she remembers exactly how to spell it. I've spent the last couple of days working through plans of how to eventually end up in California and maybe in a few years there's a window. There are rabbit holes all over but I need at least a window (look what they did for Alice) please send me some negative points to put me off, if you've stumbled across any.

Click on any smiley and it will take you to the simley page . There's a ton of them to use. The "cheers" smiley () is made by typing a '<' then 'cheers' and then another '>', with no spaces. Try it. All the different names for all the smileys are on the smiley page.

You looking to end up in San Diego, or would anywhere on the coast do? Negative point? Hmm, people cannot drive. Er, you don't really get a winter, oh right yeah, negatives. Um, it's not as old an England, not as cosy. Um, it's quite expensive.
