That was an interesting non sequitur you just posted. Where did you come across it? I only ask because I used to work for British Gas, and so know it to be true!

I've taken to posting to the Non Sequiturs thread things I genuinely hear or read that sound a little bizaare, and are even stranger when taken out of context. I'm sure some people just make stuff up, but that doesn't work for me.

Thanks for noticing. Now and then for Non Sequiturs I just enter a random word or phrase in Google and then cut and paste. That was a sentence from our local gas company (Terasen) website, although I knew there was some chemical compound or other that did that.

I try to make them totally random, although occasionally I find I'm posting something that relates to the previous post. Sentences that I hear pieces of when people walk past my desk at work are also fun! My favourite is cutting and pasting an entire paragraph from a random online manual. Completely out of context it can be fairly amusing.


Apparently I am very easy to amuse....
