Hi. Nice to see someone from Vancouver on here. I was last there in 1994 and loved it. I had the feeling it was somewhere I could live very easily. My brother lives there and hopefully I'll be able to visit again at some point.

I may be the only one currently from Vancouver on this site, there was a librarian but she seems to have moved on. It is an easy city to love, lots of beauty but unfortunately we have the Downtown Eastside full of the homeless and drug addicted. We're working on it.

I see you're a DoP and camera operator. Is there a lot of filming going on in Vancouver/BC these days? I know it was being used a lot a few years ago as it was cheaper than the US and had less union problems.

Vancouver has a reputation for quality now more than being cheap, the dollar was at par a month ago. The union thing was mostly about the teamsters and that is changing here as well.
