Today (day 7 and probably the last for this thread) is my infamous Irish Lamb Stew. Right now it's just a raggedy ass weak soup but in an hour or so it'll be ambrosia. By Sunday it will be liquid heroin.

Boneless lamb shoulder diced- dredged in flour and sauteed brown, caramelized onions, carrots, Russet and White Potatoes, lamb bone stock, a little chopped cabbage, duck fat, some Guinness... it's all about the order.

I still feel badly.

I was lazy tonight:

Prosciutto, Fig and Marscapone ravioli from Lethbridge, Alberta's pride, Let's Pasta http://www.letspasta.com/

topped with homemade tomato sauce made on a base of sauteed sweet Italian sausage, hand-made by Old Country Meats and Deli (their webpage is crap, so I won't bother with a link [also my haggis purveyor]) and seasoned with homemade Brunello.

and a bit of Parmesan, of course.
