Three Right Feet
IctoanAWEWawi Posted Mar 6, 2008
and it's finally hit the British press:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/mar/06/canada
interesting bit in there:
"Curtis Ebbesmeyer, a former professor of oceanography at the University of Washington, and an expert in floating objects...said: "Left footwear and right footwear often tend to wash up at different times at different places because they float differently."
Although I doubt he introduces himself at parties by saying he studies floaters.

Maybe they stuck the Canadian newspaper article in a bottle and it's only just washed up here.

I may have solved the case. Obviously the perpetrator has left the three feet as a clue that he buried the rest of the bodies in his.... yard.

the press this is getting I'd give a pound to a penny there'll be a CSI cover of it in the offing. I'd like to think it depends on exactly how nasty and grisly the reason turns out to be, but there's guaruntee.

*Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that does fade,
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.*
...and his feet are in sneakers on the beach.
With this find in Richmond it occurs to me that the mighty Fraser river might be a part of this. The crime scene would then be vast.
Curiouser and curiouser ...

Let's see, that leaves out aliens and evil scientists ....

"
This foot is the fourth in a string of mysterious feet that have washed ashore on B.C.'s beaches.
"
A true classic!

Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!
'A human left foot was discovered partially submerged in the water near Westham Island in Ladner, B.C., Delta police said Monday.
It's the fifth human foot police have found in the province in less than a year.
"As far as it being linked to other partial remains found, we haven't dismissed that. We're considering all possibilities," Const. Sharlene Brooks told CBC News.'

*Police have not determined who the four right feet belonged to.*
That shouldn't take long, I mean who has four right feet? Personally, I only have a left foot since my right foot is usually lodged in my mouth.

It's a lefty, confirmed. Now to see if it matches any of the right feet. Or the correct (right) foot. Right.
