No, Your Scarletude.
I'm a little nearer than that, but not much. See post in MC-H. Middle of the week, we'll be moving south - it's a sort of Big Ears thing.
I hope your car - has to be red, doesn't it? - is fully recovered & you enjoyed your prime time with your man. My Significant Other thought we were all done with these partings years ago, but we did get a good week-end in Skye. Despite being a scientist who is as good, if not better on computers, she's just not into MBs & the like
My e-mail is good for a bit yet but I may go quiet for a bit, but don't think bad thoughts - bad pennies always turn up. I'm off watch just now, and will turn in shortly.
No, I don't know the L-place, never trained there, but we passed over Dorset last week en route south. I looked and looked but there was too much cloud!! Couldn't see Peter either ...
Oh well, musn't grumble, I have me pipe & me baccy.

But OOV!
I was waving ever so hard - are you sure you didn't see me!
And my car is most certainly not red - it's green and looking pretty good right now!
I shall get my other half to ponder your whereabouts I am off to bed to nurse my cold!

And I was looking for a red car with a sore nose ... oh, well.
Not Robin, the Hooded Man - Robin the American Demi-Semi Super Hero.
Anyway, we're off again. I'm off watch and by the morning we'll be somewhere else.
Don't nurse your cold - the following panacea has been used by Celts down the ages. It should be taken internally, as required. Take a large measure of malt whisky, a doxen cloves and turn on the kettle - preferably with water in it. (Tip #1- this gets more difficult to remember as the medicine takes effect.) While it boils add some honey - that's the medicinal part - if you're drinking socially, just use sugar. Add the hot water and repeat as required - i.e until standing is difficult, then go to bed. (Tip#2. If you haven't got malt whisky, Wild Turkey works almost as well and even a blend will do, at a pinch. If using blended whiskies, add a few more cloves.)

You had it right with the sore red nose - that's surely mine!
You'll probably never want to speak to me again - but I HATE whisky!
I love cloves and honey though....
OOV, I'm too much of a 'girl' - the only Robin I know is Batman's...
what's half a half robin anyway (a rob - oh that's a bit too much!)wish you could send us a postcard!
The Monk's had a drink I think - but nothing you would envy!
see you later

If by 'he' you mean me, Peter ... well, I'll be back UK side next week-end, they tell me. Thanks for the e-mail - will reply later, am just back to what passes for civilisation here & pretty wasted. I'm a bit old for all this.
Mind you, a quick peek at the old Gorge reminds me that there are those worse off than I ... poor old monk, I'll see what I can do for him tomorrow when I wake up and eat.
BTW, Batman is also a place in Turkey, with a NATO facility. Great if you like the hills - personally, I prefer mine with booze, but when in Rome ... Hope you at least have been allowed back on the old aqua vitae
-it's hell having so much blood in the alcohol-stream!!
