1st entry, random thought

Whoever invented the idea of easing oneself into the water to "get used to it" was a masochist! To
s l o w l y ease into the water one toe at a time is terrible. It gets worse when that one toe feels comfortable enough to lower in another body part. And then when half of your body is in, you get the idea that you could now safely jump in. Wrong. Your body suddenly is through into temperature shock. One half is comfortable, while the second half is asking the first why on did it think it was ready??
