What can I say mate u got a great taste in music, you like wrestling, you like RPG's and you like phoenix nights you sure you aint a long lost brother?? lol
I've watched wrestling for about 15 years now lol Loved ECW, WCW and I still watch WWE. ECW was always my fav
People don't realise how great Scott "Raven" Levy is/was and also chris Kanyon! Who better than Kanyon?? Dya remember his old persona mortis i think he was lol it was when he used to wear a mask.
I have to say the old WCW cruiserweight division was me fav but unfortunately although WWE do have some good matches they still don't have some of the magic that benoit, malenko, jericho, juvi gurrera, eddie gurrero, chavo gurrero, 3 count (lol), 3 dragons, psychosis etc used to have in WCW.

Well, I have to admit that I am quite amazing...but then I have a brother and you probably wouldn't want to be him!
I was a wrestling fan from the days of the UK Saturday glory years who had his passion ignited again when a friend showed me a tape of the WWF Survivor Series in '91 and started the whole thing up again.
I only got into ECW towards the latter years and watched most of the hayday on video, but there was more talent and innovation on one card than the total of a years programming from the big two. The sad fact is that since the talent has gone on to join the WWE they've been stifled and kept down by the big names. Hayman can't write what he wants as he has to answer to McMahon and the talent has been booked to loose to every WWE halfwit in history, only the Dudley Boyz have become bigger after they jumped!
Did you know that Kanyon was using the Mortis gimmick again until a week or so ago in the WWE?
The WWE are going to kill their own Cruiserweight division before it gets off the ground. They made the mistake of building it around Rey Mysterio and then making him into the small guy that can mix it with the heavyweights. As a result he gets booked against the likes of Ape Train and the Big Slow, he even ends up defending the belt against Matt Hardy! Genuine cruiserweight talent such as Jamie Noble, Shannon Moore, Billy Kidman and others are shoved out of the picture.
What about Ultimo Dragon? remember him? My number one cruiserweight, hired by the WWE who thought that they were getting Mysterio mark 2. The guy is one of the best workers in history and the innovator of much of what the cruiserweights of today take for granted. He debuts with a fantastic match against Moore and then is buried. I was in awe of the fact that he was to wrestle Eddie Gurrero (another personal favourite) but the match was marred by the fact that Eddie had to start a heel push and cheated his way to the win...another classic botched by the McMahon clan!

Yo I suppose Tajiri aint done too bad since he moved to WWE I mean he's had a tag team title run and now he's the cruiserweight champion. I tell you what annoyed me is the fact that WWE took ECW world champs talent like Justin Credible, Rhyno, Tommy dreamer, Raven, and RVD (I know he was TV champ but u know its the whole f'n show!). RVD and Jerry Lynn had my fav matches in ECW and what happens when they're both in WWE?? They have a RVD vs Jerry Lynn match on Heat for christ sake!!! Then they ditch Lynn and he goes to to join jarrets promotion.
I think WWE were stupid for not getting ex ECW talent like EZ money, KId Kash and Super crazy. Oh also Steve corino would of made a nice addition.
A ex ECW talent they've wasted big time is RVD. I suppose it's the fact that he can't do what RVD does best as the risk factor is too much and Vince wont let him get over that much. It p's me off when people reckon he can't do the Van terminator in a WWE ring as he can't reach. Thats bullsh*t! In ECW I saw him do the van terminator from one corner to the diagonal opposite!!!
I really did like ECW I got about 40 ECW PPVs on video and DVD. It was great as I used to pick up the ECW DVDs and videos dirt cheap! 3 vids for £10 or 2 DVDs for £10. Stupid me before this was paying £15 each DVD from MVC.
WWE at the mo is gettin better than it as been this past year and the smackdown brand is impressing me more at the mo although the Raw brand is getting interesting especially with Randy Orton this guy had a great match with Shawn Michaels he'll def be champ of future.
Finally for now the man, the mullet, Mike Awesome! Where's he gone?? lol I mean the reason he was so good in ECW was that he was a big man in a small guy promotion whereas in WWE there are a lot of big men. ECW was mad at some stages especially with New Jack some of his matches were mad! I mean the match he had with Vic grimes where the two of em fell off 20 foot scaffolding onto concrete was mad! The craziest thing bout ECW was they wrestled in what looked like school PE halls and you could tell the floor was very hard and for some reason they very rarely used mats .
