Or I was, until I just assumed it was some kind of script that uses the name of whoever looks at the page. Hmm, and I was starting to wonder who you are and why my name was mentioned - I'm still not liked after all!

Ah, one of those things that as a newbie I don't understand. To be honest, I only joined for Rat's sake so I don't really need to be here anymore - and then someone goes and says hi! It always happens...

This site is a lot of fun as well as being a bit educational (in spite of the politics and such). Maybe, you should consider finding your own set of friends here.
In answer to the other conversations... I'm not in your time zone, by a long stretch, so I have no idea which Star Trek episode was shown last, there.

It was from Season 2 of Enterprise, the episode where Dr Phlox's race were revealed to have been at war with some others 300 years ago (Excuse the lack of names, I'd just spell them wrong). Travis, Trip and Malcolm were sent to rescue some geologists. Travis broke his leg, awwwwww I wanna kiss it better

I doubt I've seen that one. The problem is, here Enterprise is shown once in a while on a Wednesday night, and then on Sunday and it may or may not be the same episode. I do like Scott Bakula, shame I can't seem to catch much more than three episodes a year.

Over here we just get one episode a week but it's repeated a few days later. We used to get reruns of Next Gen too, but for some reason it's been taken off right at the start of Season 6. They obviously don't realise some of us haven't seen them all I wish I had cable coz they show tons of it on there, but then I'd never go out!

That is odd, to stop showing them at the beginning of a season. Our local television station only bought 55 of the 78 original Star Treks. It wasn't until the Sci Fi cable network started showing them that my friends and I managed to see them. Believe me, I waited a long time to see those episodes.
VCRs are our friends...it's the way to have a life, job, and friends and still watch what we want to on television. I don't watch a lot of television, so I am even fussier about what I do watch. We probably shouldn't discuss the huge box of tapes, though.

I think they're going to put it back when they lose The Simpsons in a few months and I can't wait that long, so I'll be building up my video collection too! I've got a ton of them already, mostly episodes I loved when I first saw them and spent hours trawling through fleamarkets to find, plus a few I hadn't seen that appeared to be centred around certain characters - I have this weird obsession with Data that no-one understands.

I probably have a few years of a head start in video collecting. There is almost every Red Dwarf episode on tape in that box. Some classic movies are in there too. And, some vintage Twilight Zone episodes(with Rod Serling narrating)
We get the Simpsons, almost non stop.
Data had some of the best lines. Not being a human, but close enough in a lot of ways, he could say things other characters couldn't and get away with it.
Old books follow me home from flea markets, thrift stores, library sales... Almost everywhere, actually.
