Thank you, so much.
Make yourself comfortable and visit for a while.
I take it you figured out this was me. Is this name silly enough or should I add something to it?

I like it... simple, dignified, yet with just the appropriate touch of absurdity
And yes, I recognized it as soon as I saw it!

Why not? Most Wise is related to Calamitea, I would think, so they could get into all sorts of familial, penguin-ical mischief...

I hope we don't get chased out of there...
On a penguin related note, have you ever seen the Wrong Trousers?

I started collecting penguin stuff in highschool. After a couple of years I quit because it was an unnecessary expense. It wasn't until the last year or so that penguins started showing up...everywhere.
The penguin friends around here are pretty much a joking matter. These weren't accounts that I meant to open and hadn't really used except once in a while. The other two accounts are too much of the real me, to the point of I would either repeat myself or spread myself too thin If I tried to really personalize all of my accounts.
Although, the penguins do kind of resemble some bits of my real life friends...

Yeah, alter-egos only go so far.
I used to have quite a collection of Opus the Penguin dolls, but they've all disappeared. Too many years, too many moves.

I have one Opus doll. It was a gift several years ago.
A book display that I ordered, arrived a couple of weeks ago. The book is published by Putnam press...also known as Penguin Putnam. The box read:
Penguin Press
Wire Rack
Assembly required
My boss saw the box before it was unpacked. His comment was: "Wow, a penguin rack! I suppose we have to assemble it because the flippers would be kind of useless for using tools...".

I cut that label off the box, it's under my desk at work.
In one(or maybe two) threads that I'm in around here linux penguins are pets.

That IS classic labelling... you have to wonder if it was intentional or not!

The book company's newsletter is The Healthy Penguin. First time I found one in my in box, I thought it was a joke.

My friends cancelled out as one had a migraine, and my hand went nuts and got all swollen and sore while I was cleaning the kitchen
How was yours?

That's awful, for you and your friend.
I had no choice, but to catch up on my sleep Saturday. Feel asleep in the recliner, which is no small feat as it is an anti gravity recliner.
Today was pretty quiet except for a couple of errands.

An anti-gravity recliner? Did you buy it surplus from the Bat Cave???
Went back to work today. Nothing remarkable.

Bat Cave, never thought of that.
The recliner was a Christmas gift from my brothers. They bought it at Sam's. There is a massage feature, a heat feature and it tips like a see saw to promote circulation(unless you tighten the handles so it stays put). The cat likes to wait until I get comfy and nicely balanced and then she jumps right on top of me. I think she does that just to tip the chair.
