Hya
I think your space is looking ok, I haven't been able to get any pictures on mine yet - so you're ahead of me! How long have you been a barman?
Hi there
SkatMan Posted Jul 24, 2002
I have been a barman for about 7 months but have only been a cocktail barman for about 4 months, still tring to find my feet in that too. It can be fun to say the least......

True, do you work in a flash Tom Cruise-esque sultry women draped over bar place or seedy by the docks stumbling outside to vomit place?
Hi there
SkatMan Posted Jul 24, 2002
I would not call it either, It aint no tom Cruise place but It ain as bad as it could be if you know what I mean, it is actually a club but not to the standard of Ministry of sound or anything like that.....

Well it depends what night really, On a wednesday night it is rather mental kinda da garage and r'n'b vibe with a bit of trance'y vibe too. on a friday it is a bit of everything mainly up to date chart music, and on a saturday it is 60's 0's etc all up to today, It is a real good laught. Wednesday is normally best as it is all you can drink night, £12 entry and all drinks free.( but my bar is closed for obvious reasons)

Not at all good chap....I work for a random investment company doing random stuff that affords me the lifestyle that I like, I frequent many a fine public house and like Drum N Bass to Old School Motown greats.
For the really random crap I like - peruse my personal sitey thing, I aspire to being collected Daddy Warbucks style (Annie) from this hum drum life and being told that my assumptions were correct all along and I am in fact a Persian Princess and by law am to be carried
along in a jewelled carriage and can wear ay goddamn nail varnish I like without oppressive monkies trying to tell me otherwise.Yay!

That sounds kinda interesting to say the least, I am sure you are a fine princess, to which i will probably never have the joy seeing thy fineness.. Glad to see that you like to get out alot too. I only have two nights a week to myself as my social life has plans for me and my presence...

On a tuesday I am on playing darts, wednesday I play pool then I have to work, thursday I play pool and get absolutely wasted and friday and saturday I have to work. So it is all go..... No rest for the wicked or so they say???
Something really clever..
Boo Posted Jul 24, 2002
Yes, that is what they say....
well sounds like you have a tremendously squishedly packed schedule -I on the other hand allow much time for the sprawling, yawning, dozing and foraging for sustenance in fridges.Hmmm what/who do you hate most?
Something really clever..
SkatMan Posted Jul 24, 2002
It really depends if you want to include work in this??
Well my top 5 hates are:
1) Work
2) My Ex-Girlfriend
3) Germany
4) The sound of grinding wool between your teeth
5) work
I think that is about all of my hates. I probably sound like a right old wierdo now.........
And why "something really clever"????
Something dumb just for NFear
Boo Posted Jul 24, 2002
I was changing the subject box - anyway, you can tell more about a person from what they believe they really hate than" ooh it's so nice to meet you, tell me all about yourself"....at least I think so, most people have more in common than they realise just from the stuff they dislike.
PS; Do you mean having to work, or your present job?

SkatMan Posted Jul 24, 2002
my present job i find it boaring and I get no sence of achievement at all. some days I do not feel like getting out of bed to work, but i should be getting a transfer soon I hope, Fingers crossed. But it never gets me down belive me.....

That's good. Maybe you should consider opening a cabaret club?

Don't let something like money stop you, with the right motivation and perspective - why, you could be the next Peter Stringfellow!
