Psychic fair

I think psychic fairs are pretty much over-rated. People have been jumping on the 'new age' band wagon for years now. I went to a Psychic Fair in Glasgow last month, and probably out of the 50 or so people there, there were only a few who were genuinely spiritual people. Sadly, I feel like everything else, New Age is becoming no more than a money-making scam.........

Well I never even made it though the doors after I was intercepted by the trekkies. One of my friends has a psychic go around to her house and she has asked me along a couple of times but i'm really just not comfortable with the idea of someone seeing my 'future' in case it tempts fate in a bad way. smiley - zen

You can only tempt fate if you WANT to tempt fate. Before I start to read someone's tarot cards I always tell them: "I am not a fortune teller, I am reading your cards to help you deal with any unanswered issues you may have." I see tarot cards more as a means of helping people sort out any problems they may have, and not as a medium for predicting the future. I ALWAYS make sure they end up with a POSITIVE reading, and a smile on their face (mostly). Some people have really very serious problems, then I would tell them to go and ask a doctor, psychologist or other professional bod, depending on the circumstances.
