... and welcome to h2g2.
You seem to have been missed by the usual horde of <./>ACEs</.> because there was such a long time between you registering for an account and creating a personal space. I expect you know your way around by now and might even have read many of the <./>NamedEntries</.>. However, if you do have a question, you can use the reply link below and I'll be back. Otherwise, feel free to ignore this message.

Cheers for the welcome. Yep, as you guessed, I've been around here for a while. H2G2 is one of my favourite sites, even if its just to step through random entries until I find something interesting.
Now that I've set up a profile, I'm discovering GuideML. Already fluent in HTML, so I don't expect any problems. Who knows.. one of these days I might even write an article!

The main difference between GuideML and HTML is the insistence on closing or self-closing tags which were not supposed to be closed before. So needs and you have to use and . The other differences are much less since other people in the BBC insisted that many HTML codes which were previously banned (replaced by local varieties) be put back in. <./>GuideML-Clinic</.> is one place to get a list of the local codes but it is probably worth trying anything you know from HTML (not javascript!) if you really want to use it just in case it's there.
