I remember taking the first book from Greig when he was reading it in bed, on the grounds that he wouldn't be able to get up for school in the morning and then sitting until three thirty in the morning 
, unable to put it down myself and being shattered all the next day!

That's wonderous! They really are fantabulous! I've only had a few books like that. Harry Potter series, Lightning by Dean Koontz, and Dune by Frank Herbert..oh wait Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein and then Foundation series by Asimov..otherwise I manage to tear away .

Hell yes! I've read BUNCHES of Discworld..I forgot to mention 'Theief of Time' and 'The Truth' by Pratchett in that list..
