just had a quick lurke on your vote for me link; and simply had to pop by as something there caught my eye.

If you haven't already flown the US of A nest in the direction of the colder climes of the North of England, you may still get to read this.

My Daughter Graduated last year from Lancaster. Had an amazing time there and was in County College doing Maths. The Uni is an extremely friendly place where I'm sure you'll make loads of friends yourself.

If you haven't had a chance to visit, its a lovely place, around three miles from the City of Lancaster itself and surrounded by open countryside, the grounds awash with rabbits and squirrels - very close to the Lake District.

If you need any useful info that you have difficulty with, let me know.

Wow! Thanks so much for getting ahold of me! I'm not leaving until January 10th or so, but I'll definitely keep you in mind if I have any questions about Lancaster. It's great to know I have an experienced resource!

I plan on studying creative writing and history while I'm there, and hopefully I'll be able to get into all the classes I want--registration is notoriously difficult for study abroad students. I'm very excited to travel Europe as well--I plan on visiting Paris and Rome during my six month stay. I'm a little afraid of getting lost, or confused, or lonely, but it'll be a good learning experience for me.
