Journal in Pliny
Posted Apr 25, 2013
When I first joined h2g2 I found that the Journal and conversations could not be edited once they had been posted. I chose to use Guide entries as my journal and make links to specific events in a life that was to me a completely new environment.
I used My Space as the Index and centre to my escapades in this environment choosing Ancient Brit as my user name a character that I could play out in both real life and the imaginary world of h2g2.
Unfortunately the transformation into Pliny has made some of the links unacceptable.
Most of the Entries were made in Plain Text and the Pliny Plain Text Editor is unable to cope.

A Journal Entry can be removed from your Personal Space. It is not deleted, however, as it may form part of a Conversation that other Researchers have joined in. You can reinstate your Journal Entry on your Space by following the instructions in the Journal section of the h2g2 FAQ (click on the 'Help!' button to find the FAQ).
This facility has been added since my previous entry was made.
Is still not possible to do anything with Conversation entries. Once they have been published they remain in place, warts and all.

SEF gave a definition for this word.
If will do as a subject name for a hidden test thread to see how long it is before someone other than me posts to it.
