It puts you bacteria to the start of the thread not to the specific post.

The Brunel link works exactly the same in Pliny taking you to the first post in the thread.
switch into Brunel and it takes you to the specific post.
Can.t remember whether I talked to someone about this 
I used the technique quite a bit building up my space in Brunel.

Hi Titania - I still love discovering what you can and can't on h2g2.
Thread renamed to keep things on topic. 
You've been around a bit. Do you know how to pick out a link to a specific post.

Yeah, I noticed it myself after fiddling around for a bit - but then, I find Goo to be so comforting that I've been sticking to it.

I took to Brunel and have been with it from the day I started.
Not sure but I seem to remember that Brunel was the default skin.
The old skins were more versatile than Pliny.
