Another case of useta, really. I got into the "intelligent/ambient techno" thing of the early 90s, Warp stuff mostly. Then I got into d'n'b and leftfield hip-hop, learned to DJ and scratch after a fashion (while I was meant to be studying Electronic Music at Uni). I've recently got a little sequencer and just getting into that, but mostly just function in nmy job and don't think about it very much.

I did the same as you pretty much exactly. But in reverse order.

I try to spend all day sequencing, and think about it all the time, but mostly just don't function in my job.

In exchange for money usually and sometimes tell them that 'a golden rum, lime pulp and coke is called a Cuba Libre or did you know that and just assume I didn't you smarmy little yuppie'

Good job you're functioning then! Incompetence on my behalf generally only has minor repercussions.

It's good, getting free drinks when working in a bar, but has a tendancy to spriral out of control. I can't imagine why.

I don't actualy play any computer games, beside a bit of chess and Scrabble. My mate does play games like that quite often though, I recommended it to him.
