Why did they turn you back? Don't they like people going on holiday now? It sounds absolutely dreadful, I hope you can get back there, don't lose all hope.

Evidently I made a mistake in thinking I could go on holiday with a view to getting a visa; you have to apply first 
. So they (being the Kentucky branch of GoodOlBoy Security) made me sit and sweat for 3 hours, then sent me on the first flight back without even a chance to look out of the window.
Since I'm in Islington till next week, do you want to meet? I'll check my messages later if you do.

Sounds stinky, not even allowed to holiday now. You must have lost loads of money on the ticket. We might be around on the weekend, I'll have a word with his nibs!
Keep up hope! Be a good boy and apply, and do try to guess anymore problems, not knowing is just not a good enough excuse these days! Godd luck with take 2.
