Woke up rather early today, so I'm sitting here enjoying a cup of tea and a few moments of quiet solitude- of the pleasurable kind- before my ride gets here, and thinking of you, of course. Hope you're doing all right and having a lovely day.

It's okay, you've got a lot of things to do and people to see, I understand completely. Glad you've got the ticket sorted, takes a huge load off my mind, too. Can't help being worried that you'll back out on me. Just remember that you *can* ask for help, you don't always have to bear things alone.

I'd love to talk with you tonight, I get off around 4:30, so with traffic (not sure if there's a Cubs game tonight, and being so close to Wrigley, that makes a difference...) I'd say it's a safe bet that I'd be home between 11 and 11:30 your time. I feel really guilty keeping you up to all hours, but I miss you. Will be eagerly looking forward to hearing from you.
