I want to make it clear I only read the horoscopes for a laugh. This in yesterday's East Anglian gave me a proper chuckle;
"Uranus today will encourage you to come up with things that you haven't considered before. If you like a life that is absolutely routine, Uranus can be rather uncomfortable because it will challenge you to make changes and wake your life up."

Are there rings around Uranus? If so - you may need the Indian soap in the book PC sent me of amusing brand names:
'Mysore Rose'.

There are, but you need quite powerful equipment to make them out.
Just applied for the manager job. Starting salary as it should be - £185 a month better off, in my case.

Things generally augur well at the mo. I found what I can now confirm is a shark's tooth on the beach at Felixstowe (still no sign of the 1000lb bomb, though).

And always remember - no job is stressful, provided you're prepared to do it badly.

I only read the Onion's horoscopes; the ones in the other papers are too silly even to read for a chuckle. I can't believe people out there take that shit seriously.

Incidentally, the Mysore Rose soap is awesome. I can't remember now which product in that book made me laugh the hardest- it was something edible.

The Golden Stream springwater got the workmates' vote.

Yeah- it sounded a bit like something I'd rather avoid drinking, akshully.

Of course it's accurate. What are you implying?
Got the disks this morning. Had a chuckle just looking through the sleeves. I'll be watching some when I get back from work.

Oh, good! Enjoy. Edward's got his silly book, you've got your discs... now I'm just waiting for Christopher to receive his goodies and I can stop cursing both the USPS and the Royal Mail.

Strange story, I got in a fight after a night out once and got the shoulder of my jacket torn in the process of pushing somebody over a wall and into the door of the base of operations of hull's Liberal Democrat party. The next day I went to my friend's clothes shop to get a patch and chose one from the USPS, cos it looked fly and had an eagle on it. People were constantly asking me if I was American after that. It was ace. The best one was this old duffer with an RAF moustache whilst I was waiting for a bus: he just leaned over and said "Yank, eh?"
That coat was a legend. It did the rounds, it had hundreds of bolly burns in it, it got stolen by rastas and eventually returned after four years when one of my friends recognised it and demanded it back!

Do you still have that jacket?

Yep. I don't wear it though, it's absolutely knacked.

The strange thing is that my parcel was accompanied by some sort of international postal form. In French. Stamped in Bucharest.
