Hi, thanks for submitting my article (the one about avoiding clipboards) to peer review- nice to nkow that someone thinks something I've written is worth being submitted

Okay, so I don't look dim, I wrote the reply in the book club thread before I read this.
Your entry was fantastic, I look forward to seeing it on the front page!
Hi, and thanks :)

Thank you!
Hope to chat again soon, if you have any comments about any of my other entries, just let me know

Well, that would involve finding time to read them...
Seriously though, if there's anything you'd like me to read, just post the link here.
Hi, and thanks :)

Well, any of my articles I don't have any of my own in the edited Guide yet, so if any of the titles take your fancy... just let me know

What about the ones listed in the relevant column on your page? Are you a sub-editor?
Hi, and thanks :)
TeaKay Posted Jun 8, 2003
They're collaborative entries- you know the ones that are on the front page under 'This Week's collaborative topic'? I've just contributed a few lines in each. If you really want to know which biits are mine, I could tell you, but I don't want to bore you to death, lol.

That's fine! I collaborated on the Biscuit entry, how homely!
Hi, and thanks :)

In 'Great Dates in History', I contributed:
"Don't know much about it 'cos I wasn't born at the time, but I'd say it was pretty influential, and you could say it was the swingin' 60's going out with a bang."
In 'Relaxation Techniques', my bit is:
"Playing an instrument is particularly relaxing, as long as you play something you can play well - if you keep hitting the wrong note, it will only wind you up and make you tense. But if you can sit and strum/pluck/blow for a while, it's almost guaranteed to wind you down after a hard day."
In the 'Fears and Phobias' entry:
"I'm scared of pretty much anything with a sting - if I had to be chased through a forest by either a small bee, or a huge grizzly, drooling, hungry bear, I'd choose the bear every time. In the presence of a jellyfish, I'd embrace the nearest Great White shark, and if I was standing next to a scorpion, I'd run and make friends with a particularly irritated tiger.
I cope with my phobia by screaming like a girl and running for miles."
In 'Tips on How to Make Commuting Bearable':
Under the 'look for shapes' heading: "The same is true for clouds, but needs a very active imagination if undertaken on the tube."
In 'Tips on How to Live in a Shared Household':
I can't find it... can't remember what bit was mine. I don't think there's an actual quote of mine, but there's ideas of mine in the 'mixed sex' and some other sections.
Sorry if I'm just too boring for words....
TK

You're not boring at all, and you really make me laugh!
I contributed the Aggression Cookies recipe, though not the comment on dealing with toddlers!
Hi, and thanks :)
