Welcome !
We have really missed you!
What do you do in Arts???

Do you need a fresh towell? #-or a pillow? ¤

Thank you. I always know where my towel is. But a pillow is always appreciated. I play trumpet in a jazz quartet, two brass quintets, a couple of community orchestras, and local community musical theater orchestras. Fortunately, I've met a lot of great people and am continually kept busy.
My food of choice would have to be garlic bread topped with parmesan and asiago. My drink of choice is a vodka tonic, Stoli's preferably.

I do enjoy a on occasion, but there's always a bottle of something (Smirnoff's at present) in the freezer (icebox). Help yourself.
My schedule does usually leave me , but what can I do? I'm a slave to my muse.
And greeting to you, Plato. I enjoy listening to music nearly as much as I enjoy creating it. I've always got headphones on. Thankfully, the workplace doesn't care much, as long as deadlines are met.

Sitting here by my kitchen window watching the heavy rain...
3 more days to work... sips cold ...music....I listen to all different kinds! What about you?
Greetings Pan the........
plato <surfer> Posted Jun 24, 2002
You have rain too? seems like everyone does about now...
I'm mostly a rock person myself, but I enjoy the melodious kind most... Like incubus... and System of a Down

It's not rained yet today, but some is expected. And the rest of the week as well.
I listen to bits of everything. For example, already today: Vanden Plas, Stereolab, Ozzy (new Live disc, rather good), Steve Hackett, and Louis Armstrong/Ella Fitzgerald's Porgy and Bess.

A song to make you smile.....
Daybreaker by Beth Orton has been working for me for a while.
The Cardigans' Junk of the Hearts is another good one.
Black Crows' Blackberry also inspires good vibes.
And now some lyrics:
Wo-oo-ooh hoh!
I have walked this earth
And watched people
It doesn't scare me at all
I can be sincere
And say I like them
It doesn't scare me at all
An-bithelafter-mer
An-yeah-hoh-oh
An-be-ja-a-a-ha-ha
You can't say no to hope
Can't say no to happiness
I want to go on a mountain-top
With a radio and good batteries
And play a joyous tune and
Free the human race
From suffering
It doesn't scare me at all
Greetings Pan the........

Since I can't post the lyrics, I would recommend you search out the lyrics of Roy Harper's "Solar Wind Sculptures." They were written about a young lady with Down's Syndrome, and were on a benefit disc for research about that disease, and was included on his most recent solo album.
