I have an idea that will revolutionise online gaming forever. An idea that will make observer mode/'life after death view' a hell of a lot more exciting than it currently is. Games like CS (isgay) and Army Operations would actually become fun to play, because lets face it, obs mode currently BLOWS (I'm actually writing this on my dodgy Palm m105 while in AA obs).
My bright idea is to put a selection of 'mini-games' to observer mode, like tetris, snake, maybe even solitaire. The server would keep a list of high scores, so the phun wouldn't stop when some ghey TKer shoots you when he thinks you're staring at him. As soon as the round (finally) finishes, the server would save your current status and pause the [mini]game.
I already have a pretty clear idea of how things would work. I'm also thinking up how the save format would work, so keep watching this space for updates
btw, in case you're wondering- No, im not a developer (currently), so I won't be able to make one myself. I'd be happy to assist anyone though who wants to take up the challenge
Also, the 'WaitRis' was also a bright idea I thought of while walking home. It's a combination of "waiting" and "tetris", together in a word that sounds like the female who serves you coffee. I'm quite proud of it
