gone... :-(
Posted Jun 11, 2002
Checked out the search functions of this site and found a lot of interesting entries... and people I would have loved to talk to. Only they had all been gone for a long time.
There seem to be many "researchers" just popping in, writing a few words... and leaving forever.
Maybe there are even more popping in, not even writing anything and leaving forever - how would you find them?
One thing, that felt most strange: I found some kind of review of the "Backes", a pub just around the corner from where I live. Written long ago, of course.

the musical taste of plants
Posted Jun 10, 2002
Been to my favourite meadow and sang a song for my favourite tree. And I had the impression, it didn't like "Castles made of sand" very much, but seemed to enjoy "My foolish heart". And then I improvised some da-da-thing in 5/8... and it liked that very much, too.
Well, it just felt like that (I don't know.)
I think, I've read somewhere, plants like Mozart particularly.
Maybe that's the reason why my plants at home don't ever seem to flourish very well... too much Stravinsky? or don't they like Debussy? Björk? or does an occasional Ligeti spoil everything?
Does anybody know?

let's just call it No. 1

Right, So I'll just try this, too.
It seems to be pretty hard to come to this site and do what you actually intended to do, because there are always so many other things grabbing your attention... people writing in (which is really nice), interesting buttons somewhere that you haven't noticed before... well.
So it's "discipline or letting go?" Letting go, sure!
